My IWD 2:EE freezes whenever I try to purchase items from merchants. I can interact with them about anything else, but when I make a move to purchase or sell something, my game freezes. I have gone back to previous saves and rebooted my laptop several times, but nothing changes. What do I need to do?

* Is this a new game or suddenly started happening?

* Do you have any mods installed?

* Have you edited your save game at all?

I haven't edited the save. It just started happening. I installed cdworks, but that was months ago and I haven't had any problems with it.

Just wanted to be sure. Are you playing IWD Complete, IWD 2 Complete or IWD:EE?

Yeah, I thought that because: "My IWD 2:EE freezes whenever I try to purchase items from merchants."

There is no IWD 2:EE. I'm guessing IWD:EE.

Right. Remove CD Tweaks completely and start a new game.. Especially remove it when you're trying to troubleshoot.
