I have DL'd the Non-GOG version IWD2 because the GOG version wouldn't run at all. The non-GOG version has no sound at ALL, and runs very sluggishly. I have 4 PC's, but they are all WIN10, and all have the same symptoms. My question is, can IWD2 run on WIN10 or higher? Or do I have to just give up? I don't want to keep beating my head agianst the wall, so if anybody has tried getting IWD2 to run SMOOTHLY on a modern PC, I would appreciate any help, or send me links to other sites that can help. While I suppose that it can have a different cause than it was in my case, after I gave up finding solution on google, I''ve tried toying with sound setting in W10, and I've found a option to mark certain playback device as default. After setting the one I actually use (there were also several devices for digital display audio), sound started working. Now I am curious what issues I run into next...
