I have a problem running icewind dale 2 on a full screen mode.
It just go to window mode anyways even when I choose an option to full screen :/

Please help

Open ..\Icewind Dale II\icewind2.ini with any text editor.
Make sure fullscreen is set on:
Full Screen=1

If icewind2.ini doesn't exist, run..\Icewind Dale II\Config.exe => Graphics tab => Window Mode: Fullscreen
If the file still doesn't exist, then you've probably installed the game under "Program Files" and run it without Admin rights.
Search for the ini in the "Users" folder (e.g. C:\Users). Include system and hidden files in the search. It's probably under \Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore (which is a hidden folder). Alternatively, run the Config.exe AND the game as Administrator (right-click => Run as..).

I have the same issue

I had the same problem.
Once I installed infinity engine widescreen mod, the problem was solved. You need that mod anyway.

Personally i don't like how game looks with widescreen mod. If for someone DeMignon's solution does not work, check out if in the config file he talked about both ScreenPosition X and ScreenPosition Y are equal to 0. Otherwise game screen would be displaced even on fullscreen mode.
