Howdy, I am new here. I just got Icewind Dale EE. Download and everything went smoothly. Did character creation and that was fine. Game launches, but I can only click on 5 of the characters. The 6th nothing happens. I drag a higher person down and I can get them to the 6th spot…but again now I cannot control them. This is going to make a 6 person party a nightmare. Any solutions or ideas will be helpful? Or even a way I can contact GOG outside of the useless virtual assistant? I’m begging to think I should have heeded advice and gone with steam…disappointing so far.

You can contact a real person by e-mailing support@gog.com. In my experience, they are not more helpful than the virtual assistant though.

What version of the game are you using? Is this a modded install? Can you use the keyboard to select the 6th character? I usually use keyboard selection for simplicity. Keys 1-6 select the corresponding portrait. 7-9 select pairs (7 = 1+2, 8=3+4, 9=5+6). 0 selects the entire party. If you hold Shift while pressing the number, it adds the corresponding portrait, so 1% (also known as (1 + Shift + 5) will select characters 1 and 5.

The game is playable well with a party of 5 if you just want to start playing.
