It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

So, I've searching far and wide for this solution, but can't find it anywhere. Apparently, I'm supposed to install mods into the same folder as the dialogue.text file. But that file is in the language folder. Considering all of the mods tell me to intall in the main folder and reasoning that the language folder is no place for mods, I have no idea what to do. I can install some mods if I move that file to the main folder, but others don't work so that isn't a solution. They aren't detecting it on their own. What do I do? (Honestly I'm amazed there isn't a guide to this anywhere on the internet).

I'm using windows ten in case that matters, and user account control is disabled.
EDIT- I suppose I'll clarify this is IWD 1, not two. (two seems to have the most subjkects in the forum :p)

No, NOT "dialogue.text". The file you are talking about IS in the main folder and it's called 'dialog.tlk' (a "talk" file). So yes, your mods need to go into the main folder, the same folder where "idmain.exe" is located.
EDIT: Okay, I figured it out. I hadn't realized the mods list post in this forum wasn't for EE. I figured it was, as I thought there would be an equivelant for EE if so. I'm just not thinking clearly, apologies >.<...
