I dont like widescreen mod due to menu becomes too small and game screen too zoomed out.

My resolution native 1680x1050 and other lower widescreen resolution does not work right. But 1024x768 looks great. Problem is, the game looks stretched. Is there anyway to keep correct aspect ratio (black bars on side)?

Thanks

Go to your graphics card control panel and in the desktop size and position section, set scaling to 'Full Screen', and perform scaling on GPU -- performing scaling on display is what causes it to stretch to the aspect of your monitor. Note that if this affects your desktop, you will have to do this (switch settings) each time you play the game.
Finally fixed it. actually on my pc it is already correctly set to use aspect ratio instead of full screen. I just found that the problem is that it was set to perform on "display" (which doesnt work in my case). So I simply need to change that to perform on "gpu" which work fine. Just for information in case others have same problem.

Thank you.
