After getting to the load game start new game menu clicking anywhere causes the screen to start flipping and flashing any help??

I had something similar with 10.9, not sure if it's the same problem though. Sometimes when I loaded the game the screen would start to flash and flicker. Quitting and reloading had no effect. In my case I what solved the problem was to delete the app and reinstall it from the .dmg file. After this, the game would run fine again (for a while), but I saved the .dmg because I needed it numerous times. After reinstalling, my saved games would be intact, but I needed to reset all the game settings.

Anyway, not sure if this will help you or not, it may be a different issue.
