I was going to play this game today, never played it before, and when I start it up there are horizontal and vertical lines all over the screen. I can also see i box around the mouse pointer.
I have tride the usual things, like administrator, not instaling under C:program etc, but nothing works.

I play on win 8 and a Nvidia card.

I played the IC1 on Windows 8 this year without problem, however I used the Widescreen program So, i'm not sure if that could help you.

I tride the widescreen program but it did not help. Is there something else I could try?

Try running dxwebsetup.exe

If that doesn't help, try running setup-ddrawfix.exe & uninstall it.

When I tried to run dxwebsetup.exe it said I already had the same or a newer version.
So I tride to uninstal ddrawfix but that did not help ether :(

Is there anything else? I really want to play this game.

I found what was wrong, I unchecked the "Use openGL 3D acceleration" option in the config menu. Now everything looks fine :)

I´m about to give up on this game :( Thought I hade fixed the graphicissue but it turned out that I just got another. The cursor and portions of the gamescreen flickers constantly.

If I turn the 3D option on everything works perfectly except for the horizontal and vertical lines all over the screen, if I turn it off the screen and cursor flickers. Is there anyone that has had the same problem with this game in Windows 8?
