Have you tried running as administrator? Have you tried compatibility mode?

Same. I tried IW2 in Windows 10 and no luck. Does not even start.

win 10 (possible fix)
open Run Command (WinKey+R) type - control, go to Programs - Programs and Features, click the Turn Windows features on or off link, find the Legacy components on the list, enable DirectPlay and click OK to install it.
