Install DDrawFix. If the default installation doesn't help, reinstall with option 2 "Use WineD3D's DDraw Library".
I'm afraid I forgot to mention that it was the Enhanced Edition. Would that still work?

No. Do you have integrated Intel graphics? Your "Not much else to say." needs a serious re-think.

Yup, I've got an Intel GPU. Sorry about my original post.

Then you're kind of screwed. Intel support of OpenGL (and 3D acceleration) is abysmal, and that's where your problem is. You could try altering your baldur.ini per the following, though this is not a fix, and may work on some systems and not on others:

INSERT INTO options ROWS (
'Graphics', 'OpenGL Version', '1',
'Window', 'Full Screen', '0',

I'm afraid that didn't do the trick. Maybe I'll give it a try when I get my new computer. I really appreciate you helping me out. I made it up to Dragon's Eye. Does the difficulty pick up or is the rest of the game absurdly easy? Getting to play the new kits was pretty neat though.

I find all of the enhanced Infinity games from Beamdog ludicrously easy with all of the overpowered items and kits, similar to BGT/TuTu.
