Hi all

New here (and to downloading games in general, so used to just putting a disk in and clicking autorun) and am just starting to get the D&D games.

Was wondering which version I should buy and download on gog. Theres the complete version which has the expansion packs or theres an enhanced version which says it has a bunch of new classes, new weapons and new interface for about twice the price....but I'm not sure if it has the expansions as well.

So I'm thinking the enhanced version for all the extra stuff, is there a way to buy the expansion packs for this as well or am I limited to the complete version if I want those?
As far as I know the extensions of the "vanilla" game come in the Enhanced Edition package too.
The "complete" is the original edition, with all expansions, more or less as they were released. It doesn't have support for modern screen resolutions out of the box, but those can be added by unofficial patches.

The "enhanced edition" is a more recent re-release by Beamdog, it includes all the expansions too, but the engine has been updated to run more smoothly on recent computers (it natively handled high resolutions, ...), and it has native Linux support (which for me is a significant point).

At the end there will be few difference between the two versions. The EE is slightly easier to install/setup on modern hardware, and has a few polished details in the UI, and minor content that was "cut" from the original game and was restored in the EE, but apart from that, it's the same game.
Ah right cool cool then I'll go for the enhanced edition. Cheers guys.
