Is it possible to delete the premade charcters in Icewind Dale? I will not be using them, so I figured I would get them out of the way. Any help is appreciated!

Do you mean the character files that you import? If so, yes. They are in the 'Characters' folder within the game installation (non-EE) folder. They have .chr and .res files for each one. You can create your own, but you must maintain an 8.3 character file name limit.

Then no, you can't, at least safely. The pre-set characters are all bif'd (compressed) inside the game installation folder. New, custom characters created are stored in '..\Documents\Icewind Dale - Enhanced Edition\characters\'. Having said that, you *could* try moving (or back up and delete) the CHAR.BIF from inside '..\Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition\data\', though I have never tried it and why you want to remove them eludes me.
