Apparently, there was an update for portrait selection to simply allow you to "arrow over" to the custom portraits in question.

The problem I have is that there is no way to choose the "M" sized portrait (medium) for the side panel. Instead, it forces the "L" sized portrait (large) to be placed there instead, making it look much more unclear and ugly.

I really prefer the old style of custom portraits that allowed me to choose each size by name, even have a completely different picture for the "M" sized one, compared to the "L" sized one.

Is there any way to get around this issue? Custom portraits was one of my biggest joys in this game, because I felt like I had so many unique characters to choose from.
