OK I have played Icewind Dale and all the others since they came out. I never had any trouble cheating them. I was able to find the ini file and cheat Icewind Dale II, but when I try to find the ini file for Icewind Dale there isn't one. I have gone through all the directories etc. no ini file. So how do I cheat Icewind Dale?
Is this for Enhanced Edition? I don't think there is an ini file for that version. I can't check myself ATM because I don't have it installed.

Edit: I found this page: https://www.gamesradar.com/icewind-dale/cheats/. The cheats are listed under "various cheats".

Hi, if you're playing Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition you need to add this string

SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')

to Baldur.lua located in

...\Documents\Infinity Engine - Enhanced Edition\Baldur.lua

Be sure to check it's not read-only.

Then, if I remember correctly, shift+enter will open the console.

That worked, although it was Ctrl+Enter for me to open the console. Thanks!
