We're all on the same router. I've tried using direct IP addresses as issued by our router as well as use Hamachi for tunneling purposes. Our ping tests end up being <1 ms round trip so I know that's not an issue. We simply can't connect to one another in the IWD game.

I've tried doing some research about the topic and I've set all of our game configuration settings to be identical. Also, I'm running the game in windowed mode on all the computers.

What else might be the problem?

Nevermind. Everything works via GameRanger.

Scratch that. We can load our games but then one of us drops when Hrothgar appears.

Has this happened to anyone else?

My friend and I have been playing IWD1 via Gameranger without any problems. But it's only 2 of us, so maybe that's the limit?
