After I killed the swarm of treants, the game just like freezed. It should be a new path but the game freeze before seeing the path. What can I do ?

The crash is probably due to the game's resolution. Which resolution did you set? Are you using the widescreen mod?

Anyway, supposing you're using high resolution, you should probably try lowering it to something more moderate such as 800x600 or similar. After passing the bugged part, you can set it again to the older (and higher) value.

I encountered this problem too. The solution was to temporarily set 800x600 resolution, kill the treants and path unlocked itself. But only on the second try.
