For some reason, everytime I create a character, it has the default Baldur's Gate biography. My problem is that when I create a bio for a character, it defaults to the Baldur's Gate bio when the game starts with every character.

Is there any way to fix this?

If you told us which game and version you are referring to, somebody might be willing to help you.

You can copy the bios from here:https://icewinddale.fandom.com/wiki/Party, and paste them into your own characters' biographies. It's a bug with the Enhanced Edition.

The lastest version of the Enhance Edition.

Funny thing, I have a similar bug.

I actually wrote my own bio's for my characters. But only the last party member shows it. The rest have the default BG bio.

Lol, beamdog need to look into that.


So, update:

it seems as if the issue is also dependant on party size.

1/2 people in the party, they have the BG bio.

3+, and all but last has it, no matter how many. Last party member is the only correct bio.

And its conditional on game start. I can reorder the party, save the game and quit.

But, when I restart, it makes no difference, the party member who was last on party creation at game start is the only one to have the correct bio.

So odd.
