Classic IWD, not EE

Can these spells be cast on caster only, or on others too? I seem to remember they were caster only from when I played the game before, but reading the manual now it says "Target: 1 creature" instead of "Caster".

They are, as per the description, "Range: Caster". Both spells are personal protection spells.

Hickory: They are, as per the description, "Range: Caster". Both spells are personal protection spells.
Not in my paper manual. There it says "Range: Touch" and "Area of Effect: 1 creature", which doesn't indicate it's caster only, since "Range: Touch" is used for spells that affect others like Vampiric Touch. "Range: Caster" is used on spells like Dimension Door.

Thanks for the clarification anyway. I was remembering right.
