Or the game is abandoned to its own fate, after polishing the graphics and all (beamdog lifting)?

Can you now roll an elf druid, like in the original, or not? And what about bugs? Of course, i do not mean those summoned by the druid just mentioned...

Since Icewind Dale EE is developed by Beamdog, you probably want to ask this question and/or look for updates on bugs at their forums:

As of the current version (1.3.2058), elves cannot be druids. Please note that I'm playing the Android version of IWDEE. In a previous GOG forum post, pcamagna said that this had been reported to their bug tracker.

There is a patch for the game that should be coming out soon. Keep an eye out on the website below this tuesday as that seems to be the day of the week that they give updates regarding these things. Updates seem to come out around 4-5pm Edmonton time.

Sorry to revive an oldish thread, but it looks like Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition now supports elf druids. I can create such a character on my Android version of the game, so I assume the desktop clients support it, too.
