Okay, here's another question I have. Do the DCs (Difficulty Class) for skill checks for things such as locks and traps increase for Heart of Fury mode or do they stay about the same? I'm about to finish the regular game, so I was wondering, especially as it seems like every pickable lock and such seem to be all-too-easy for my human rogue, who has 22 Dexterity (+6 bonus) and 16 Intelligence (+3 bonus) and 18 ranks in Open Lock, Search and Disable Device.

If the DC doesn't increase, then that means I can easily expand into skills such as Use Magic Device, for one. If anyone can help, that'd be appreciated.

The skill checks are exactly the same in HoF mode only combat is harder.

Just as I had predicted! Thanks for the answer. :D
Just a little update, I FINALLY beat IWD2 after all these years last night. I originally got the retail copy of the game when it came out but was unable to play it after upgrading from a Windows 98 PC to a Windows XP PC. I got the GoG copy of this game a couple months ago and had reached where I originally stopped (Dragon's Eye level 1) and had continued until now. At last... one big bothersome chip off my shoulders. :D
