I am confused.

Does this game run as soon as it’s installed in my pc without any problems or do I have to use DOSBox?

You should be able to run the game from the shortcut GOG creates after it's installed.
The game uses ScummVM 2.0 to run (which GOG also installs in the game's folder).

You don't need to use DOSBox.

I've recently tested this (like yesterday) on Windows 10 Pro x64 and I didn't have any issues. I also tested using a newer (development) version of ScummVM and it run ok with that too.

Does it not launch for you?
