Bethezer: Well, I'm not working for them so I can't exactly tell you that's their motive - for my knowledge they are busy with Megadimension Neptunia VII having
many problems... ranging on all specs, really. You could always try to contact them - maybe they will look into that as well?
That being sad - I still doubt it. And I with opinion that this is wrong. I understand that, for example, the only 'support' that Vampire the Masquarade can get is from fans, cause the comapny is long dead, but this? It's new, they are doing good... so why not send at least a bit of resource to improve games that are there already for some time?
Given that the copyright date on the main screen of the PC edition of the game is last year, I'd really think it would still be in the support cycle. But it being a port means they probably think they've gotten all the revenue they are going to get from it, at least to the degree that fixing the bugs now is more of a losing prospect for them.
The only way that I've managed to persevere through the game is that I am a programmer so I can figure out some of the quirks of the system. That and a lot of grinding so that I can wipe out monster parties before they move. But I just now crashed on the final boss battle and I gotta say I'm hating this. Especially as the game loves to throw up walls of text before major battles and no opportunity to save.
It's lucky for them that GOG's review mechanism is just as buggy, or I'd leave a cautionary review about this game. But since most of my reviews never post I've given up on that system too. No sign of it being patched anytime soon either. ~_~
