i have the same issue to

cpu: amd fx6350 black edition
gpu: gtx1060 gygabytes 6GB Vram
ram: 12GB
Os: W10 Family 64Bit
having the same issue with and without a controller. 20-30 minutes and the game slows down so much it becomes unplayable. i found that switching the game from 60 FPS to 30 FPS helps keep the framerate consistent. obviously not a "fix" but it does mean the game can be played for longer until the developer can patch in a solution.
Same problem here, game slows to a crawl after 40 min or so, then everything is running in slow motion. Any new feedback from the devs ?? I really hope there is a fix for this soon.
i think they will do nothing to solve it :( Is there a way to ask for a refund from gog? I heard that the steam version doesnt have this problem

EDIT: Sorry, i researched more, and steam version also has this issue :(

They apparently put out a patch for the twitch version to fix it already: No word yet on anything for the GOG version as far as I know.

This is good, it means they are working on it. I'm hopeful we will get a patch soon.

Lets hope they fix it soon :(
Asked one of the devs on a Steam discussion and they stated they wanted to roll out the update on twitch first before GOG.com, so it will definitely appear here hopefully soon.

Hi!

I bought the game recently and I can't play it because I have the same problem. Any news?

Here is a video showing how is it after 20 minutes of play.... And restarting the session doesn't solve the problem. I have to quit the game and restart it so I can play again.

Thanks!
Same problem ..... sad ....
I'm in the same boat too :( Unplayable on any normal session... Waiting for the fix!
Having the same issues on my laptop. Playing with a wired XONE controller.

Same issues on my main PC. Game slows to a crawl after about 30 minutes - especially after returning to the main town.
Game is busted at the moment... Hopefully we'll get a patch

I'm having the same issue as you guys. Game runs perfect until 20-30 minutes of gameplay and goes slow motion. I have a i7 8700k and a 1080ti so i doubt it's my system. (playing with an X1 controller, wireless)

Does the Steam version have this issue too? I already finished this masterpiece back then on PS4 but now that i want to replay i can't. Restarting after every 30 minutes just sucks hard tbh.
Just gave it a shot on an old Windows 7 PC and yep - same problems in areas with lots of characters (like the town) after 30 minutes or so. Things smooth out in places with no enemies/NPCs for what it's worth. Fresh install and new save btw.

Also checked out a few things that are common issues with other GamerMaker 1 games (Hotline Miami and Downwell). Messed with the .ini file and tried another version of Direct X and was unable to fix the issue.

May give the Linux version a shot - but that's all the Windows feedback I can provide...
Yeah, been getting the same slowdown as everyone else. WIsh the developers would throw out a patch or something so I can get back to playing it for longer periods of time. Fantastic game btw. Has gory/bloody feel to it, but with pixelated charm. Highly recommended even with the current problem.
