Gammix: EDIT #2:
Fixed it. I case anyone else has the same problem, here's what was going on:
I had tried to make the file myself. Even though I made sure that there was no .txt in the file name and instead it ended in .game, my computer was still reading it as a text file instead of a game file. I deleted it, downloaded the patch from the link and it worked fine. I hope this is useful info for someone.
This is due to the default behavior of Windows which is to not show known extensions of files. Fixed it. I case anyone else has the same problem, here's what was going on:

To be able to change the extention of your file, you have to change the settings of Windows Explorer.
Otherwise you will have a file named "huniepop_uncensored_patch.game.txt" with ".txt" not shown by Windows.
With Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), you have to use the dialog box of the Directory options (Tools menu), select the Display tab and uncheck the "Hide extensions of files which type is known" option (I don't known the exact sentence used by english version of Windows).
With this setting, Explorer will show you the entire name of your file and you will be able to rename your new empty text file to "huniepop_uncensored_patch.game" (without quotes).
