Hi. I got this game out of curiosity (I'd never played a dating sim or a bejeweled style game before), and while I really enjoyed the first few hours, the illusion kinda started to dispel as I discovered that the game doesn't really punish you for wasting time (chatting with everybody for the hunie) and getting questions wrong.

So from that perspective, there's no incentive to start over and do a better job next time with the facts you've memorized... no strategy involved as in spending the munie on the right stuff and focusing on the right persons to max your munie/hunie per time/dates spent. Am I right? You can just chat with anybody you like and always get fifty or more points whether you bought gifts or not. So there's no way to fail the game really. This doesn't feel like a meaningful challenge for me, and the lack of challenge and failure makes it feel like there's really no progress to be made, or progress you can fail to make for not playing well enough. It's a little disappointing, unless I'm missing something.

I've scored with one girl now, but I haven't filled anybody's pockets with gifts. Is there a reward to doing that? Is there any reward for winning the rest of the girls too, other than the random photos you get? Is there a way to *finish* the game and get an actual ending? Because at this point I think these are the only things that could keep me playing this game that totally got me hooked at first... I really enjoyed it when I first thought I *was* actually making strategic decisions and making progress for getting it right.

Yes. Get the panties of every girl for the ending.

Of course, you might not have met every girl yet even though you think you do.
Ok, how about the gifts? Does getting all of them for each girl do anything?

That is more about getting 100% completion (for that you also need to know every detail of every girl and unlock every outfit and hairstyle). I didn't see anything special after doing that.
Aww, shame.. :-(

You're probably farther than me, so I might change my mind at some point. But right now I enjoy the game as a casual distraction. It's a rather relaxing experience. If you want more challenging gameplay you should try Bejeweled 3, as there are plenty of variations around matching tokens (or jewels), the difficulty can be much harder than in HuniePop despite seeming deceptively simple. All you miss are the women.

The difficulty of HuniePop comes from the ever increasing amount of points you have to gain to win without getting any additional moves. While upgrading your stats fully and getting a good selection of date gifts help, getting the panties of the last girl is no easy task.

I didn't mean to say the game was easy, it requires some thinking, but I guess maxing out your traits makes it much more manageable. In Bejeweled 3 there are no stats, it's a different kind of challenge, well worth a try.
Does the amount of points needed to complete the date go up with each date, each successful date, each day passed in game, the amount your stats are raised, or some other criteria? I am on the last girl and am curious if the puzzles would be easier if I did not fail so much at the start of the game, on the first eleven girls.
As far as I understand it, the amount increases with each successful date.
