When I look at the gallery in-game. I can see the thumbnails just fine but when I click on them to see the full image nothing pops up. Any suggestions on how to get them to pop up?

Thank you,

It might be your hardware.

Are you experiencing any other graphical issues, such as black backgrounds instead of images?
I'm having the same issue with the gallery. The rest of the game seems to display/play okay, but, for whatever reason, the gallery doesn't work right and won't display enlarged images...can only see the thumbnails.

A google search turned up random people on Steam and elsewhere having the same issue...and I don't think anyone over there figured it out either other than guessing it's some kind of hardware-related glitch/incompatibility. One person even said that the developer was aware of the issue but couldn't recreated the problem on his hardware and therefore didn't try to patch it. Kind of frustrating...

I'm in the same boat. Windows 10, integrated card, dinosaur of a laptop.

Been playing this for a few days now ever since it showed up on GOG Connect, on an old ASUS 1215n with an Atom/ION combo... and Nvidia Optimus apparently wasn't detecting the game...

Played it for hours with a grossly pixelated/compressed splash screen and start menu, a few missing backdrops and (of course) the OP's problem of not being able to view fullscreen pics in the thumbnail gallery.

Adding the .exe to Nvidia's contral panel and forcing it to run on the GPU completely fixed everything for me. Splash screen looks great, the few backdrops that were black (Campus, Beach etc) now show up, and the thumbnail gallery now works flawlessly and I can view images full-screen. Game is faaar zippier too.

Long story short, my Intel Atom was doing a piss-poor job of rendering the game apparently. I've no idea if there's a fix for it but someone here might. But if you've got a dGPU just force it to run the game.

Hope this helps
