Or did i missed something?
Hello,

i was able to play the other parts of the game just now through GOG Galaxy. First, I chose the More button and afterwards , I chose Other. The other games and respective hint books are listed there. Have fun!

I know this thread is long dead but this issue still happens with new installs that aren't using GOG Galaxy, and I have found a fix for it, at least for Windows. To fix it you need to make a couple copies of the shortcut that the installer creates. Rename them so you can tell which one is for Hugo 2 and which is for Hugo 3. Then, right click on the shortcut and go to properties. In properties there is a section just a few down that is labeled "Target", click into that and arrow over to the very end. You should see some modifiers that have a - before them. One of them, it should be the last one, is labeled Hugo1win or something like that (I am not on that PC to verify right now). Change the number 1 on that to 2, then click on OK at the bottom of the window. Now when you run that shortcut it will load Hugo 2 instead. Update your Hugo 3 shortcut with a 3 instead and it will load Hugo 3.
Found a quick fix that will display the list for all 3 games!

Go to the shortcut titled "The Hugo Trilogy" and right-click it and go to Properties.

Under the Shortcut tab, look at Target.

If you're in Windows and you have it installed in the default location, just paste this in:

"C:\GOG Games\The Hugo Trilogy\scummvm\scummvm.exe" -c "..\hugo.ini"

Or alternatively, just backspace that final part where it says hugo1-win at the end.

Click APPLY at the bottom. Now launch The Hugo Trilogy. That should do it!

Happy gaming!
Thank you so much Seanobi, your solution really helped me out.
