Just finished the game. All 3 episode/missions. Lots of old school fun. I played the demo on Steam but as soon as I checked and saw it was on GOG I snatched it up from GOG. No DRM > Steam. I personally experianced no bugs or glitches. Ran smooth as warm butter.
A proper retro game with both manual and QS saving. Little monochrome with it set in the old CCCP controled easter Europe but that is to be expected. I must say that even on the easist settings this game is brutal . I had to use godmode several times but then in my late 60's I'm not a kid anymore with lightening reflexes,LOL. Adored the little companion you gave us occasionally . He was very useful, friendly and cute, haha. What an appetite he has.
I could see many influances in the game. The ones that came to mind to me as I played were, Doom, Quake, Heretic, Hexen, Half-life, You are Empty, Painkiller, Serious SamFE/SE, etc. So it has good roots. I normally don't buy new games but wait several years mainly becuase they have crappy single slot checkpoint only saving. The fact this game had manual and QS saving , console cheats and that you believed in your game enough to provide a demo to try it out said a lot to me making me decide to purchase.
Once again I had a blast and this will be one I revist again unlike 95% of the AAA games I own which generally are good for only one playthrough. Thanks for the fun
