Having one game that's still not finished after lots of years and already using Activision or EA methods. Wow, just wow.
Blame Steam. Their changes to games like this means developers are no longer able to give the patches away for free.

None of you have seen wolfquest a game related in 2007 and still in development. A very involved game won't been complete for another decade so let's not give house party grief.

Besieged
Low Magic Age
Phoenix Point
Jupiter Hell
All have taken around 5 years to get to the complete stage . Just an FYI
Yes they do.
On the other hand the game is cheaper by the same amount as the complete uncensored version on itch.io.

So you actually don't pay more at all, you actually have the option to pay less for a game without nudity.

And currently you get a massive discount (uncensor patch discounted by 68%), so it's really not worth to complain.

It is worth to complain. Such patches should not be charged at all, cause all it is that is a script which overrides some lines in the games, unlocking existing content. That is just greedy business.
Some people clearly just close their eyes and just reward this kind of behaviour, cause they think it's normal. It's not. Thanks to those people companies continue with this. Just as charging heavily for just a few clothes or even just to get a map. 20 years ago games were just still games. full fledged games instead of glorified puzzleboxes, where you have to pay for each puzzlepiece. And it only gets worser and worser.

a) You really should read the patches description
b) Feel free to buy the fully uncensored version on itch.io
Ok, it costs more than the version on GOG (same as patch + DLC), but you don't pay extra for the patch. It's a All In One Deal.

'That kind of behaviour' has as consequence that you get the base game cheaper than the fully uncensored version if you decide not to buy the patch. Yes, very bad behaviour indeed. They screw you over by making you pay less.

the uncensored patch was free on the Steam at the begininng, they started charging (5-6$) for it like 3-4 years ago.
