I don't know about you guys but i get no music/sound when playing the updated version. The original version still works fine and runs very smooth. I noticed a couple users on steam are having this problem as well.

I have the same issue.

Strangely none of my old saves work either.

I had a similar issue with the older version. I had to install some .dll file, that solved the issue. I cannot exactly remember what it was but some related internet research could possibly help...

Just install the game FEZ, if you have it. It fixes the .dll issue that you get when you try to run the updated version of Hotline Miami.

I fixed the problem. Actually, I download an OpenAL : www.openal.org/downloads/
I run it in the folder of the game, and then it works.
