Hi, mine updated version isn't full fullscreen on 1920x1080(black bars around the whole screen in menu and at the left and the right side during the game. Example screen is attached). How can I fix it? I've read there is some launcher which can be helping. Could someone upload such a thing? There is a few topics about it, but no solution

From your screenshot, the game seems to be running in full screen, it's just using its original aspect ratio, instead of being stretched. I know this isn't much help, sorry, but I thought I should let you know all the same.

I hope someone more knowledgeable than me can help you with this, but probably all you'll need to do is to tweak something in your graphics card control center.

[EDIT] The only launcher I'm aware of is the one that you use to launch the game, via which you select whether you want to play the Updated or the Classic versions, and I can't find any option in there to set the screen ratio to original or stretched to fill the screen... Thank you for your reply. So you want to say that this is normal behaviour of the game? Do you have some black bars as well? It is so weird that the game isn't full 16:9 which is standard nowadays. I don't have any launcher, just exe from gog and I can't find any config file to change anything
I don't experience any black borders in my game... only two on top and bottom when browsing the menu, but the game runs stretched to the screen. I don't know if this has something to do with me running the game in a resolution that is the same ratio as my screen resolution or if it's something my GPU configures on its own, though.

As for the launcher, that's what I get when I double click the GOG Hotline Miami shortcut on my Games folder, or whenever I start the game via the Start menu. I think it's stock, comes with every version of Hotline Miami, the game doesn't start straight away, you need to select whether you want to play Classic or Updated via that launcher every play session...
Do you have some screens of the stretched game? I've got 2.0.1.5 and and I have no such launcher. After clicking shortcut I can see a logo for a while and then the game starts. In main menu there are black bars on the every side. Weird thing is that pause.bmp file which is in my game folder has 1200x768 resolution. Looks like this is the resolution when I'm playing and cause of my problems
Well, here you have two screenshots of how the game runs on my computer, the bars in the menu and the stretched screen in-game.

I still don't understand why you don't get the launcher when trying to play the game... I would try to do a clean uninstall and then install the game again, see if that helps.

Also, it would help a bit if you told us your operating system and your specs; it goes a long way for people trying to help you with this.

I managed to get launcher, set the resolution to 1920x1080 and it didn't help. My graphics card is GF9600GT. I will check the game on laptop. Looks like the bug is impossible to fix and I will have to play it that way. Anyway, thank you for your involvement. Have a nice day! :)
