Hey guys, I found a way to avoid the crash at the end of Dead Ahead. If you go into your hotline miami 2 folder in application support (which is in the library folder. I'm pretty sure library is a hidden folder, so you'll have to look up how to get into it, maybe) and then open "savedata.vfs" in textedit or something. Close-ish to the bottom there is the heading "levels.dat61", which should have a bunch of ones and zeroes underneath it. The ones represent the levels you've unlocked, and the zeroes are locked levels, and they are in the order that you play them in the game. Simply substitute the 12th zero for a one, and you'll have unlocked the level after Dead Ahead. It won't count as actually completing the level, but at least you can play the rest of the game, right?

P.S. you can change some values closer to the top so that it counts as completing the level.

You may not need to do all that with today's Mac update for Hotline Miami 2 :) Please download the new mac DMG for HM2 and get back to us :)
The crash at the end of the level is still happening for me, and I downloaded two days ago.
My game crashes as well, frustratingly at the end of the 11'th level (dead ahead) when i'm heading back to the car. This is the hardest level yet and it takes 30 minutes to and hr to get to the end so you're killing me GOG! :/
So the level 11 crash still isn't fixed.

That really has to be some rigorous QA testing still going on, eh groze?

Got anything to say about this groze?
Yeah this is getting ridiculous. I figured a couple months taking a break from this game the bug would get fixed. How many of us payed full price for a broken unfixable game?
Level 11 crashes here too on OSX 10.9.5. Thanks for making the game and all, I really like it. But this is a serious bug that should have been solved before release.

Is there a temporary fix we can do to just continue the game before a patch is out? And is there anything we can do to help? I would attach a crash report but for some odd reason this forum only lets me attach image files and not text files and I dont want to clog up the forum with pages of text..
This happens for me as well. This sucks... :(
Goddammit get it fixed allready jesus christ!!!!

yesnocancel: Crash on Mac after "Dead Ahead". Reproducible.
I finshed it twice and that level is hard as hell.
Fuck this game, I'm outta here.
My sentiments exactly.
