Hi!

I have problem with updated version of game, it constantly crashes, randomly, with no reason after 5-10 minutes of gameplay. I was searching solution on internet, but I'm afraid that it isn't common problem. Besides, original version is not launching at all. Do you have any ideas what can I do?

I've got refund from Gog - it's curious because Steam version work flawless - so Gog ver is probably broken. Don't bother, buy it on Steam (I know, it sucks).

I finally can pass the game miraculously with this version bro! And now I'm playing the second part (that one goes really nice). Anyway, thank you for your answer bro ;)
Like three and a half years late (sorry), but to anyone else who stumbles across this thread - I figured it out.

I believe the problem is OneDrive. The game automatically puts the save file in your documents. If you've got OneDrive set up to automatically sync documents, then it'll try to sync the file while the game is still using it, which is what triggers the crash.

Unfortunately, there's no functionality for OneDrive to "ignore" a specific folder when syncing. Luckily, there are a few other workarounds:

- Stop onedrive syncing for the duration of your play.

- Turn off your internet for the duration of your play.

- Play the original version (which saves the game files in the program files).

- Remove onedrive from your documents folder.

If there was a way to change the save location of the updated version, that would also be a solution, but I don't believe that's possible.
