I played the first game with my gamepad and had no problems. Now I want to play the second game with my gamepad and it doesn't recognize it. The gamepad-option in the optionsmenu ist active. My gamepad is a Logitech Rumblepad 2 and most games work pretty well with it. Sometimes I use the x360ce emulator but in this case it doesn't work ether. Maybe it is because it isn't updated for over a year. Any suggestions how to make it work?

Can you switch to XInput mode on that Logitech? I played the game just fine on an XBox 360 controller so I would assume any controller that has an XInput mode will work...
Sorry for not answering in time but to answer your question: The Pad doesn't have a switch and seems to use DirectInput. It worked for the first Hotline Miami and I fought HM2 use the same engine so I was a little confused, when my pad didn't worked with it. Even with the emulator it doesn't respond.

Oh well, I will continue with mouse and keyboard then, but HM1 worked better with the gamepad. ;)
