So I've played a fair bit of the game and am up to act 6, but now I can't really get the game to start anymore. Sometimes when I want to start it I get the initial black screen with the logo, but then a crash (HotlineMiami.exe is not responding). Other times I get a different error message. (Runtime error. This application has requested the Runtime to terminatte it in an unusual way.)
I've reinstalled the game and the C++ redistributable, but still nothing.
Sometimes the game does start up, but when I start the level guns don't do any damage and I can't move past the first stage (even standing on the red GO arrow). Sometimes the music doesn't play and one time even the floor texture was missing.

Any ideas?
