Help!

I can't get the comics to run under Linux... when I try to run the boot the hlm2comics application it tells me that it's an unknown file type... I then click 'Make executable and run' and nothing happens! What am I supposed to do to get the application to run?

I am using Linux Mint 32bit O/S if that helps.
