My question is simple. How to save my progression...? is there an auto save or have to by myself and how?

The game saves on its own. You have the ability to choose which unlocked level you want to play and whether you want to play the intro to that level as well.

The game uses an unlock feature rather than savegames. When you quit, next time just use the chapter selection.

Be aware that there's currently a bug that unlocks one chapter in advance - so always pick the second to last unlocked one. I hope that was clear...
