I created 1440x1080 because of the 4:3 ratio as a customized resolution in Nvidia Control panel then I started HostileSetup.exe, chose 1440x1080 and then started the game. No stretching or cut off, it works as intended.

NOTE!!! I should warn you that using customized resolution voids any warranty and can potentially damage the monitor according to a message from Nvidia. I'm not sure how accurate that information is, it sounds like they don't want to take responsibility in case something happens but nevertheless I'm mentioning it for any computer users with lack of experience.
