No error message or anything, the game starts up and closes down right away.

I figured I'd check here to see anyone knows a fix before bugging support. Thanks!

Double click icon
Go to Hardware setup tab and select that right resolution
You may have to scroll up to 32-bit selections
apply changes and start the game let me know how you did.

i had the same problem, hours of trouble shooting only to find a lack of observation.
