I used to have graphic setting called "render scale" that I set to 70 in order to maintain 60fps. I am not seeing this setting now in the graphics menu. Looks like it was patched out:

UI Changes

- Adjusted settings screen to facilitate the addition of DLSS and FSR.
- Render Scale option has been removed but same result can now be accomplished by adjusting setting Upscale Method to Simple and adjusting Upscale Quality.

Changing the upscale method to simple is supposed to achieve the same result. However, now I am getting random huge frame rate drops down into the 30s.

As far as I know, your should be able to set FSR, if you don't own an RTX 2000 or greater. That stuff should work on any card.

FSR should work better than the "Simple" option.
I have an RTX3080. Seems to be working now that I set upscale to simple and restarted the game.

That's good to hear!

But may I ask you why do you keep using "Simple", if you have an RTX and can take advantage of the much more better performing "DLSS" upscaling?
