I'm looking for a full (exclusive/extended/...) version on DVD or another kind of disk - for PC.
Is there a possibility to get the complete game on disk in some kind of a steelbook or something like this?

Not a key, just "old style" game on disk...

I don't think there is as last I checked no pc versions was released in a physical format but that might have changed sense I looked .. But I doubt it as well I'm saying this well to put it bluntly pc gaming has went near full on Digital only for ages now .. I only say this encase you have been out of pc gaming for awhile or just recently got into it ...

Yes, you are right ... these days are long gone.
What about something similar to the Death Stranding steelbook.- just for Horizon Zero Dawn.
Couldn't find such an edition...

Just buy a DVD and put the installer of the game inside that DVD (or more than one DVD).
That is the great thing about drm free.

Agreed That is a great thing about DRM free it still misses the charm of a actuall case and official Disk released by the company/ studio though as is.. Granted I never was much for collecting or displaying such things ..But as the old saying goes'' you don't know what you have till its gone'' is a thing here

My first question is why: is your internet that slow that you can't download a game that big, or do you want to have the game locally saved and offline?

If it's the latter you just purchase the game you want on GoG, download the installer + required files and save them to an external HDD/SDD.
