Detonation of the siege canon and repulsor late in the game creates a ear-piercing bass boosted effect way louder than what my audio setting should even be. I have no clue how to fix it. I havent even seen anywhere else where anyone had this problem.
I'm using the default opengl renderer with these command lines in the launcher
/disableavi /nofastfe /noglddraw /window /noborder
