Is the Classic Homeworld a separate install, or do you have to install the updated version to install it like on steam?

It's all one install.

When you click in the icon for the collection you get a screen with an option to play any of the four (two originals, two remastered).

K, that sucks though, as I found my BIG viewer doesn't want to work with it on steam. Oh well
