ZMacZ: oh plz..I haven't seen a game I couldn't run on my system as of yet, except for the ones with newer OS req's..
So..if they'd be nice ppl at ABS..CBS..PMS..whatever PBS..they'd offer the old version of Cataclysm (compiled as-is)
(without support) and let the gamer community stab at it when it comes to getting it to work..
Absolutely agree, I can verify it does indeed still run, you can even play with the registry settings if you want a higher resolution (at the cost of a shrunken UI, but hey). Dedicated communities have done more with less, and Cataclysm is one of those cult games. People just need more available access to the game. CDs are a little uncommon. So why not let the public have a crack at it. A "sloppy" digital release might exactly be what is called for. I'm sure it would still sell well.So..if they'd be nice ppl at ABS..CBS..PMS..whatever PBS..they'd offer the old version of Cataclysm (compiled as-is)
