Has anyone been able to get past the Tactics Tutorial for Homeworld 1 Remastered? It says to set a Strikegroup (F5-F7), but every time I press these bottons the tutorial never continues. I tried the links at the bottom of the screen but the tutorial remains stuck. Is there any way to fix this?

The first tutorial is to set a formation. The second tutorial is to set tactics. Tactics are the 3 buttons in the bottom left when you have ships selected. If you haven't set aggressive or evasive/passive tactics while keeping the formation, the game will not proceed.

Update:
I [think] I figured out the issue. It looks like the tutorial wants the player to cycle through every formation, not just the F5-F7 formations. Use Shift+F1 through F7.

I keep going back and forth between original and remastered and remastered does seem a tad more thorough. :P

It's also little things like this that make me realize all together there are enough differences between them to make them both worth a full playthrough.

Right now I'm just petrified that they tweeked the Junk Yard mission to keep people from going around the dog. I saw that as a viable strategy but some may have seen it as cheating and changed it.

Update... this is still broken, but also still solvable.

I like tutorials, even though they are kinda boring mostly, since they so often explain the most basic gameplay,
which in my view is fun to learn by myself.
So i was pretty annoyed when i saw that i could not complete the HW1RM tutorials.

The bug/probem is that the tutorial-gal tells you to use "tactics" F5-F7 when in fact,
the game expects you to try out the "formations" SHIFT+F1-F9, which is something entirely different.

As previously mentioned, going through the latter onesfinishes that part of the tutorial.

It is just a minor aspect of the game, which probaly is the reason why so few bothered to report it,
but as a completionist, it bugged me.
