So from what I've gathered by reading the Forums is that while HW2 Remastered is a faithful HD port, HW1 Remastered includes changes to Balance and gameplay, including an infinitely scaling of difficulty dependent in starting fleet strength. Overall the Remastered Version would be much harder than the original.
Changes normally wouldn't really bothering me since I've never played the original so I would not have noticed.
The unbound scaling of dificulty is not something I'm a fan of, but depending on how this actually affects gameplay I could live with it.
What really makes me consider playing the classic Version is the supposidly much higher difficulty. In general I'm a very casual RTS Player and enjoy the slower-paced RTS titles of the late nineties much more than the fast-paced titles from the last 15 years (which are sometimes unplayable for me), excluding TotalWar.
So, what would be your recommendation when it comes to Homeworld 1? Remastered or Classic?
