NoiseSupermot: I had this same problem, but none of the fixes in the thread worked for me. The option that seemed to fix it was using the command line option:
/heap 1073741824
Which sets the amount of RAM the game can use to 1GB (instead of a smaller amount which is default). It seems that explosions cause a problem with RAM allocation or something like that. To anyone having this issue, try the option above!
