I am starting the game the first time.

I got exactly the same problem. Just bought it and cant get it to run (win7 system).

Same problem, bought the game last night. I updated graphics driver and re-verified the game installation. No luck. So I went to the game folder on disk, for me it is

D:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Homeworld Remastered

There is a file there called "D:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Homeworld Remastered\HWRStart.exe" that appears in the file browser as Launch Homeworld Remastered Collection. Ran this as administrator instead of using the GOG Galaxy launcher and it worked fine. Hope this helps.

But it is not full version, I can not use MOD for HWR like STAR WARS Warlords!
If there are some ideas to solve that problem?

look up the fix that lone wolf made, i cannont post links here and i dont fing know why.
