Hi all. I've reinstalled all the microsoft dll's 2005 to 2015 and no luck. I've copied the exe to my desktop and it asked for more files. When I copied the files to the desktop it didn't run. I think windows 11 is missing something it needs but I don't know what. I've got a tonne of games. Possibly over 1 thousand and so far only this and blood 2 haven't been able to run on my new laptop. It has 12th gen intel processor and nvidia 3060 graphics.

Update. I just tried to run it through gog and it seems to run fine so its when I run it without gog that its a problem.

I have a similar issue, on my older win 10 pc the game works but on my win 11 laptop I have followed all the advice including installing every VS C++ redistributable version, reinstalling DX9, running as admin, opening via GOG launcher and not; installing via GOG launcher and manually.

So far i have been unable to open the game, the game shows up on taskbar and then silently crashes once i had a black screen appear before the crash but only once.

I found the location of the log files and it turns out the issue is not the game itself but the gog galaxy login so disabling the internet lets the game start, obviously this is only a partial solution because you cant play online but at least the campaign works

Same. I'm typically a pretty good at troubleshooting games when they don't want to cooperate, but the lack of information when it crashes gives me nowhere to even begin, really.

Also on Windows 11, AMD gpu.

I had similar problems with other games, it apparently was because I had upgraded to Windows 11 from 10.
Doing a fresh install of Windows 11 solved the problem and gained me quite a bit of extra FPS on many games.

I'm running an off the shelf win 11 laptop and I can't get it running. It's a real piss off because the game isn't that old. Win 11 is a disgrace.

Hello. I had the same problem. The game didn't run on a fresh system. It started working after installing a few other games. Perhaps it's a matter of installing the Framework, DirectX, drivers or something else.

Same issue here.

All fresh install on my one week only Windows 11 PC.
