Started playing this recently and despite the game obviously being excellent in terms of sound and visual design, unfortunately it's unplayable for me due to laggy input and low framerate. I have a 5 year old laptop that hits the minimum requirements but it chugs along quite badly in parts.

Gameplay videos show a smooth experience. Is there anything I can do to improve the framerate? The video options menu is rather lacking.
